There are many interesting walks in the area, for instance into Fjadragljúfur Canyon, along the eastern edge of the crags above Kirkjubæjarklaustur, along the old cairned tracks and many more. Just ask! The possibilities are endless. There is a swimming pool in the nearby town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur (6 km) where there is also a handicraft shop selling locally made souvenirs during the summer season. There is a golf course nearby (10 km).
